His lordship was kidnapped
on his way to Awka before this unfortunate event took place. In a statement
made available to us, Ven Prof. Israel Kelue Okoye held that, ‘Rt Rev Moses
Bukpe was kidnapped on 3rd of September 2015, at the boundary of Edo
and Delta States. The Primate of All Nigeria, The Most Rev Nicholas D. Okoh
therefore, requests your fervent prayers for immediate release’, he concludes.
Bishop Tabweyen is among the younger bishops of the Church of Nigeria Anglican
church and was recently consecrated a bishop alongside two others in April this
year at Gwagwalada in Abuja. May God help and cause his speedy release,
amen.
