Popular and Award-winning Gospel Artistes Israel Houghton and Fred Hammond Nominated for the 46th Annual Dove Awards

My apologies, I was supposed to have intimated you on the news of award-winning artistes Israel Houghton and Fred Hammond being nominated for the forthcoming 46^th Annual Dove Awards, an award to recognise Christian music achievements... Cheeringly, 5 time Grammy®-winner, Israel Houghton is nominated in the category of Traditional Gospel Song of the Year for “How Awesome Is Our God” in which he featured Yolanda Adams and for Gospel Artiste of the Year. In the same vein, legendary gospel artiste, also a Grammy®-award winner Fred Hammond is also nominated in the Gospel Artist of the Year category, as well as, for Contemporary Gospel/Urban Album of the Year.
Both artistes were also nominated for work on their latest releases. Hammond’s twelfth solo album, I WILL TRUST, was released in November 2014. Houghton’s 10th album COVERED: ALIVE IN ASIA was released on July 24, 2015 and over last week was greatly on top of the gospel charts; a testimony of the quality of work done on this album.
The 46th GMA Dove Awards is slated for Tuesday, October 13, 2015 in Nashville, TN and will air on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) on Sunday, October 18, 2015.
